It is a demo version, though. Itﾕs no longer fully functional shareware like previous versions of PhotoGIFｪ were. File opening is fully functional, but saving is disabled. Youﾕll be able to see all the dialogs, give the color reduction a run around the block and kick the tires on the new transparency tools, but you wonﾕt be able to save a GIF or GIF animation until youﾕve registered.

Registering costs $45 US and payment can be made by Visa, Master Card, American Express, First Virtual, Check or Cash. A program called ﾒRegisterﾓ is included that you can use to generate an order form to send to Kagi Shareware, our payment processor. Youﾕll get a registration number back by return email or postcard if you forget to include your email address that will make PhotoGIFｪ 2.0 fully functional. Upgrade pricing is available from the "Register" program for registered users of previous versions of PhotoGIFｪ

You may want to read the included text documentation before you give it a spin. There are big improvements over previous documentation. Itﾕs longer, more thorough and better written now and does a lot to explain the multitude of capabilities in PhotoGIFｪ 2.0 from editing modes for GIF animations to using the edge tool to remove halo effects from you transparent GIFs.

  31. We never mind answering questions, whether youﾕre registered yet or not, but it would leave us a lot more time to work on new tools for you if you make sure to read the documentation to see if it answers your questions first.

The file "PhotoGIFｪ 2.0 Text Docs" is a Microsoft Word plain text file. If you double click it and don't have Microsoft Word you'll get the standard 'could not open because application not found' alert, however it can be opened with any text editor than does not have a 32K document limit, hence the reason it is not a Teach Text file, from the open menu.
